Simply Counselling Matters is a safe, confidential and non-judgmental place.It is a regular time and space set aside just for you.

You can talk about your difficulties and be listened to, in a relaxed environment without interruption from the outside world. It is your space where I help you to make sense of what’s going on in your life to improve the way you feel.

I provide you with professional, effective counselling usually one hour per week in a friendly setting where you will feel supported and understood.

This means talking through your problems and finding other ways to look at them. I can teach you simple techniques to help you manage them, getting you back on track as quickly as possible.

I offer therapy to individuals or couples; over sixteen years of age and accept self-referrals and GP referral and employer referrals for a short or long-term period.

I take regular professional supervision to ensure good practice and I am fully insured as required by my professional body British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.

I am trained to adapt my working approach to your individual needs. For example: you may require counselling or Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) or a combination of both.I offer a relaxed yet professional approach where you will feel understood and supported.

I will teach you useful and practical techniques, quickly and efficiently. These skills can be used long after therapy has finished.
